Altinyildiz is a prominent turkish textile company which has for many years produced high quality textiles and fabrics. In 1998 Altinyildiz, due to an influx of a young, ambitious and fashion conscious cadre, decided to branch out into the ready-made clothes industry and to re-invent itself as a youth oriented, Internet savvy and chic producer of trendy clothes. This whole process was undertaken by Wunderman Istanbul (of which I was Chief Interactive Designer) and consisted of a complete re-thinking and re-design of corporate id, branding and tone of voice. This was initially achieved by launching the new NetWork brand with truly gigantic "posters" which were more than 20 stories high.
